My guess about XM FAQ is that there is no official MS WMA player or
libraries for Linux environment.

I know a number of user have XM Radio plugin working in a Linux
environment using SoftSqueeze with AlienBBC (i.e. mplayer) providing
the WMA support.  The should be no need for AlienBBC if you have an
SB2/3. Check past threads to see if there is anything special to setup.
