I didn't find this after a brief search ...

By default, my SlimServer account (created by installation of the RPM
on Fedora Core 5, but I'm pretty sure it was like this on prior
versions of Fedora) has a default shell of /bin/bash. This allows
logins to the SlimServer account.

Does the SlimServer really need this (it's a security concern, and it's
messing up SELinux slightly)? I tried stopping the server, changing the
default shell to /sbin/nologin, and then restarting the server. It
appears to work fine.

Was this just an oversight? Or does the SlimServer actually need a
valid default shell for interactive logins to the SlimServer account?

Thanks,
