You might like to make a local directory for Music and Playlists (eg mkdir /Music, mkdir /Playlists), and then put softlinks in /Music pointing to your smb mount point (eg ln -s /mnt/music /Music/windowsmusic). It makes it easier to add music from other places to slimserver that way.
