Err.. you know, for the years that I've been using Slackware I should know that! As it is, I'm primarily a desktop linux user. As for my headless fileserver I typically drop in and start things manually. Me thinks you'll want to add an entry to "/etc/rc.d/". I would just google "slackware service on start" or some combo.
For Gentoo I know everything is under /etc/init.d/ and you type "rc-update add blah" for startup stuff. There's also a utility called "webmin" that works with slackware. Try that too. -- notanatheist ------------------------------------------------------------------------ notanatheist's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2642 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24079 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
