Error writing mp3 output lines 20-50/50 (END) Now the out of memory jumps out but I doublt it was. The box has 512megs and the only thing it does is Slimserver. Usually runs with serveal hunder megs free. So I shutdown Slim and restart and get the problem described in this thread. I am also able to start it via CL w/ ./slimserver.pl without error. ( I also rebooted in the process) Now for the interesting part. Due to lazyness I was running Slim as root. So I change perms on all relevant files and change the user that Slim runs as in the init scripts to a slimserver user and what do you know it starts fine. So I fire up the WebUI and proceed to start playing music again and no problems. I them traverse to the Thievery Corporation directory through browse music folder as I did before, clicked on it and bam! Server crashes again. I checked the music dir and all perms are the same as all other dirs, nothing out of the ordinary I can see. I try to start it and get some CPAN SQLLite/ZLIB errors and it wants me to do the ./build-per-mod thing. Well ok even though I just started it a minute ago without doing it and I don't think I've ever had to do it on this box I'll do what it asks. No probs building the mods. After its done I try again to start Slim and now get the same error I was getting origionaly. Can't locate Slim/Utils/Misc.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/slimserver/SlimServer_6_3_x_v2006-05-25/CPAN/arch/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/local/slimserver/SlimServer_6_3_x_v2006-05-25/CPAN/arch/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto /usr/local/slimserver/SlimServer_6_3_x_v2006-05-25/CPAN/arch/5.8/i386-linux-thread etc... I've rebooted and it made no difference. I've also tried the 6-1 mightly and its the same thing. If I revert back to a 6.2 4-14 nightly it starts with no errors. Any help would be appreciated and if I can do anything to help track it down let me know. You can contact me at malioto (at) acpac (dot) com ol. Seems like it may be 6.3 thing Thanks wr420 -- wr420 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wr420's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1040 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24089 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
