I wish I'd documented all my steps exactly, but there were so many hours of fooling around that by the end I was just happy to get it working.
I do know a couple of things however: * installing the .deb package manually didn't work (due to dependency hell) * nor did using the source (for the same reason) What I did was use apt-get but manually find and install the correct amd64 versions whenever needed, which was at least half a dozen different packages. I recall having some issues with perl 5.8.8 but just can't remember how I got the right version installed. I also think I had to force install the i386 architecture for one of the packages, so if you can't find an amd64 version of a particular package that may be the trick. Let me know how you go, maybe more of it will come back to me. -- lightningdb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ lightningdb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5820 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24654 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
