I've got a few ogg vorbis files in my music collection. At first I was
unable to play them, they all just produced some static noise and I
gave up or just forget about them.
Yesterday I didn't give up and just tried and tried adjusting
convert.conf adding -x to the lame statement.

Code:
--------------------

  ogg mp3 * *
  [sox] -t ogg $FILE$ -t raw -r 44100 -c 2 -w -s - | [lame] --resample 44100
--silent -x -q $QUALITY$ --abr $BITRATE$ -r - -

--------------------

Now slimserver produces recognizable sounds Whoehoe! But it's just
recognizable, it's not the song that's hidden in the ogg. Because when
i run the next command from the commandline:

Code:
--------------------

  ogg mp3 * *
  sox -t ogg hurt.ogg -t raw -r 44100 -c 2 -w -s - | lame --resample 44100
--silent -x -q ? --abr ? -r - newsong.mp3

--------------------

and feed the newly created newsong.mp3 to slimserver I get the clear
crystal sound I hear when I listen to the ogg song with xmms or other
players.
Now what can i do to make the slimserver produce the same audio i hear
when i create the mp3 variant of the song ?
