OK, I'll upload one of the broken files tonight, and also try and rename them and see what happens, but I'm at work now and can't SSH from here (Firewall).
I forgot to mention that initially, the files that didn't work were owned by root (but not the others), so I chown'ed everything to the same user/group as the ones that did work, and also chmod -R a+rwx for all my music.
