Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get it to work. I copied my slimserver directory structure, as well as the slimserver.conf in /etc. I also installed perl-gd from the location you suggested.
I then tried to install 6.3 over the existing installation. That, however, results in complaints about existing files. Evidently, you can't just install over the old copy. So I uninstalled using rpm -e at the command line, and deleted what was left of the slimserver directory. I then reinstalled 6.3, which seemed to go ok, but when I try to start the slimserver in /etc/init.d, I am unable to start it. I get an error stating that the slimserver account is not available. I battled with this for a while, and even did another uninstall/install to no avail. Same complaint about the account not being available. Finally, I uninstalled 6.3 and tried to reinstall 6.2 to get back to my original configuration. Thankfully, that worked just fine--the slimserver came right up with no complaints--and now I'm back up-and-running. Of course I still don't have 6.3. So any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.
