Dear all, I've been trying to configure SlimServer based on the discussion at this forum: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26027
To install SlimServer I added the following line to my /etc/apt/sources.list file: deb http://debian.slimdevices.com stable main then did: sudo aptitude update sudo aptitude install slimserver As a user, my SlimServer (http://localhost:9000) starts fine and my player is found. My music drive is an external disk with a plain old FAT32 filesystem. When I 'ls -l /media/LACIE/Media/Music' all my music folders are listed, no problem. However, when I add this folder to SlimServer I get: "New value for Music Folder rejected: Oops - "/media/LACIE/Media/Music" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again." This is very strange?! I am obviously missing something trivial here but have no idea what it is (a permission somewhere?). Can someone point me in the right direction please to get my SlimServer up and running again?!?
