DAMN IT, DAMN IT, DAMN IT!

I removed it and decided to follow Patrick Dixon's revised instructions
here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=15548

and it's still the same damn problem!!!

"New value for Music Folder rejected:
Oops - "/media/LACIE/Media/Music" doesn't seem to be a valid directory.
Try again."

This completely sucks; I am fuming here...

What the HELL do I have to do to get this damn thing working?

Why did it work more-or-less flawlessly in SUSE (with the same FAT32
drive), but big problems in Ubuntu?

Right, I think I'm onto tech-support!
