Did you add http://debian.slimdevices.com/ to your sources.list file?
>> Yes. It found the package but didn't deal with the dependencies. I am now trying ubuntu. It seems a bit easier to work with, but when I modify the /apt/sources.list file to include a pointer to the deb package at slim devices, apt-get starts complaining. I also tried using the synaptic package manager and I can see the package but the package manager appears to append some stuff to the file name that prevents it getting downloaded: http://debian.slimdevices.com/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz: 404 Not Found Any guesses? I am new to linux, so be gentle...
