Hi Folks, reading around it seems lots of people are having problems with edgy....
I've now also got alienBBC to work at last. The advice on the AlienBBC page was realy poor for me. I sorted it after managing to get mplayer working. I tried to follow the alienbbc tar unpack and nowt worked for me. The thing unpacked to a folder in usr/share/slimserver/. I fixed it by changing permissions on the slimserver folder. sudo chmod -R 777 /usr/share/slimserver and then moving the bin folder to /usr/share/slimserver/bin and adding the alien folder to the /usr/share/slimserver/plugins/ folder. magico late junction 'til it comes out of my ears.
