I tried the both method. Still doesn't work: ks33912 / # ps ax | grep slimserver 24872 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -w /opt/slimserver/slimserver.pl --cachedir /var/cache/slimserver --daemon --group slimserver --logfile /var/log/slimserver --pidfile /var/run/slimserver/slimserver.pid --prefsfile /etc/slimserver.prefs --user slimserver --quiet --d_plugins
then: ks33912 / # ps ax | grep slimserver 1647 pts/0 R+ 0:00 grep slimserver In the mysql-error log, I have now these lines at the end: thd=(nil) Attempting backtrace. You can use the following information to find out where mysqld died. If you see no messages after this, something went terribly wrong... frame pointer is NULL, did you compile with -fomit-frame-pointer? Aborting backtrace! The manual page at http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Crashing.html contains information that should help you find out what is causing the crash. -- Alexis ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alexis's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32451 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
