I'm running SlimServer (and other incidental stuff, such as NFSD, SSHD etc) on a Kurobox HG. This is a 266MHz PPC box with 128Mb RAM.
SlimServer, along with AlienBBC etc, runs fine. Gentoo took a while to install, but it works great now.
