Hello, I have a PC running Ubuntu 6.10. eth0 is connected to the company network, for the internet, file sharing etc.
I have added another card and set this up as eth1 and have connected a squeezebox to this with a crossover cable What is the simplest way of having eth1 give out an ip address to the squeezebox so it can access the server that's running on the PC? I've tried installing dhcp with no success, and anyway I'm worried I might start broadcasting DHCP requests on the company network. Can anyone help? Thanks Karl. -- karl101 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ karl101's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1430 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32991 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
