Check permission on all SlimServer related files. Starting with 6.5 you can't run SlimServer as root any more. If there's one file (/etc/slimserver.*, /tmp/slimserver.*, ...) or folder which is not writable for the slimserver user, it won't start. OTOH, you're _not_ allowed to chmod 777 my.tt/my.cnf, otherwise MySQL will not start... So be sure your settings are set properly. -- Michael ----------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.herger.net/SlimCD - your SlimServer on a CD http://www.herger.net/slim - AlbumReview, Biography, MusicInfoSCR _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
