Ubuntu Linux, now runnign Feisty Fawn.

Historically I've compiled slimserver from source. Then many moons ago,
when 6.3 was current, I rashly decided to install via apt. Unfortunately
the apt package was 6.5, which at that time was highly unstable. Fingers
burned!

Yesterday I installed Feisty, and now it's time to install slimserver.

On a Ubuntu platform, is it generally recommended to install slimserver
via apt-get or should I continue to compile from source?

Many thanks!

Jim
