I realize nobody has likely tried this yet (though I plan to do so this
weekend unless cautioned), but if anyone decides to install Slimserver
6.5.2 (from
http://debian.slimdevices.com/dists/testing/main/binary-amd64/) on the
just-released-today Ubuntu Server 7.04 (AMD-64 build), could you post
if it works properly, or whether you run into -- ahem -- interesting
events?  And if you run into problems with favorite 3rd-party plugins,
that would be good to know as well.

I'm going to be trying the Ubuntu i386 and AMD-64 builds on some new
hardware I'm assembling.  Historically, the AMD-64 build sometimes
works on newer AMD chipsets where the i386 has issues, at least from
some postings I've seen on Linux forums.

I'll put up a post on my experiences after I have some :).
