I realize nobody has likely tried this yet (though I plan to do so this weekend unless cautioned), but if anyone decides to install Slimserver 6.5.2 (from http://debian.slimdevices.com/dists/testing/main/binary-amd64/) on the just-released-today Ubuntu Server 7.04 (AMD-64 build), could you post if it works properly, or whether you run into -- ahem -- interesting events? And if you run into problems with favorite 3rd-party plugins, that would be good to know as well.
I'm going to be trying the Ubuntu i386 and AMD-64 builds on some new hardware I'm assembling. Historically, the AMD-64 build sometimes works on newer AMD chipsets where the i386 has issues, at least from some postings I've seen on Linux forums. I'll put up a post on my experiences after I have some :). -- Balthazar_B ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Balthazar_B's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7366 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34615 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
