Hi everyone. I've set up my Ubuntu 6.10 box with Slimserver. I also want to have it so that when it is idle, it will sleep (as opposed to hibernate). I'm thinking after 15 minutes idle, say.
So, I know how to set this (icon top right hand of screen) and it dutifully goes off to sleep (doesn't wake on lan but that's another issue I am trying to solve). HOWEVER, it also goes to sleep if I am playing music via Softsqueeze (and probably SB3 when it arrives) on another machine. How can I tell Ubuntu that the machine really isn't idle and not to sleep under these circumstances? thanks, john -- jtc ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jtc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11230 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34632 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
