Mark, You may want to just download the .deb directly: http://www.rarewares.org/debian/packages/unstable/flac-cvs_1.1.4+cvs20070313.2217-0rarewares1_i386.deb You can install this using 'dpkg -i'. This version of flac can coexist with your standard flac version, but you need to specifically request it by using the flac-cvs command. Ben
