Help, I have previously had slimserver (6.2.0-1) running successfully on my Magnia SG20 (Red Hat 7.3, Perl 5.8.6 - thanks to Michael Herger's useful website).
But now when I start the slimserver.pl process it stalls after approx 10 seconds. Checking in the slimserver log file, the following error is reported: can't create /root/fontcache: Permission denied at /usr/local/slimserver/Slim/Display/Graphics.pm line 392 What have I done wrong, how can I rectify this problem?
