this is the reply I got from the command line: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/SimpleDrive -t ntfs -o rw,nosuid,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=022,iocharset=utf8 Password: mount: /dev/sda1 already mounted or /media/SimpleDrive busy mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda1 is already mounted on /media/SimpleDrive [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
So this tells me the external drive is mounted?
