I'd be interested in how you're checking the md5 checksums. For example, are you comparing WAV files, or FLACs? And how did you generate the files to compare - by ripping successfully with rubyripper on more than one occasion (therefore ripping the track at least 4 times), or by looking at rubyripper's temporary files?
