I am using the new squeezecenter structure. I came across 'this thread' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41802) and added mplayer.sh to the Bin directory (the alienbbc beta tarball didn't seem to have it, but I had one from by SS 6.5 install) and did a chown -R on Plugins/Alien to user squeezecenter. This sorted me out and I'm up and running with AlienBBC (and, thereby, my much-loved WikiRadio).
