Reading these forums I have noticed many people use MusicIP for creating playlists. It looks like it has some interesting features. I thought I'd look into it.
There seems to be three separate pieces to this puzzle. After much searching I still can't seem to get a handle on what is actually required. Of course I want to integrate it into my SC and SB setup. MusicMagicMixer (I get an interesting GUI) MusicMagicServer (I can start it and access it through the browser) mmserver (This is used for auto start-up, before SC - I get this) Do I need both the Mixer and the Server? Is there some relationship between the two? Is the Mixer dependent on the Server in order to integrate into SC? Installing and setting up the individual pieces hasn't been the issue. I just don't seem to be able to make sense of the big picture. I would appreciate a simple explanation of the interaction so I know what I'm trying to accomplish. Hope this makes sense. Debian Testing Branch. I also use the SC "testing" repository. Usually upgrade once a week or so.
