Oh yes I appologize, SoftQueeze has realy no delay ... That's what I
want to achieve using a soft player on the Linux box !

Not at all, no X, nor Gnome nor even FireFox on the Linux box, no
graphical interface, nada ! Only text mode, largely sufficient for a
future headless box ! The top command gives me 211184k used memory for
516852k total memory, and 0k used on the Swap ... Also less than 1% CPU
usage while serving music to the SoftQueeze running under Vista on my
laptop ...

Yeah that would be cool, do you know about a command line player for
Linux that would not bufferize ? I have my best HiFi in the living
room, where my Linux box is also, so if I could use the box as the
music receiver, and use the Logitech box to have also music in the
bedroom that would be cool, but don't want to be annoyed by the delay
in the Living room where I listen the most often to the music ...

Any advice would be welcome !

Note : I just need a player, no controlling as I will use the Duet
remote which is so cute ! Also, I only have to play MP3's, no FLAC nor
Ogg or anything else if this could have more choice in players ...
