Yes, renaming Compress::Zlib did solve the problem. It's pretty slow,
the new scanning, but it get's the job done, and I don't need scanning
very often.


Do you know, if the developers are aware of this problem/solution?


I see the error message, because I didn't use the --daemon parameter to
start SqueezeCenter. Just check the command I used in my last mail.
