This is my last try:).

1. Buy a Nokia tablet thingy.
2. Use a laptop or similar and leave it running next to your main
machine as a posh remote control.
3. Buy a squeezebox duet or controller.

4. If your setup is machine a running several desktops and machine b
running a version of squeezecentre then one possibility is to use vnc
with the server on machine b and client on machine b.  (I think).

5. Use Jedi mind force to control the SB3. i find this difficult to do
when also controlling George Bush's vocal cords. This is why you
occasionally hear strange words coming from his mouth.

6. Employ an assistant or abuse your kids using the command "skip that
one Eigor" when you want to skip a track.
