Returning to the OP's original question - Use:
sudo service squeezecenter restart from a terminal window. Similarly squeezecenter can be stopped or started by using stop or start at the end of the command. To make things easier, a shortcut to these commands could easily be placed on the desktop or Gnome panels. -- Ramage T5500 1.6GHz, SC 7.0.1-18576 Win Vista, Alien 2.0 P4 2.6GHz, SC 7.0.1-17976 WinXP, Alien 2.0 P2 266MHz, ClarkConnect 4.1, SC 7.0.1-18946, Alien 2.0 AMD64x2 ubuntu 7.10, SC 7.0.1~19101, Alien 2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ramage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5343 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46731 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
