I certainly see your point. I can imagine what kind of nightmare it is
to support zoo of distros.... Still I think everyone will benefit if
you split package into 2. CPAN-Modules package is not supposed to be
updated that often so daily updates will consume way less bandwidth.
Plus those of us who run pretty much up-to-date distros would have a
choice to install your build of modules or ones from a distro.
