Does anyone have any ideas on the subject? I'm running a homebrew NAS in my basement at the moment that consists of a hardware raid controller, etc, running Fedora Core 5.
What I would really like to do is build a super low energy PC that runs from flash media, etc, (I suppose a laptop hard drive would be ok too) and acts as both a slimserver and Samba file share. Said device would be connected to an external disk management device, preferably a Drobo (to make it super easy to increase storage capacity, etc, over time). If anyone has any ideas on how to do said project on a modest budget please post them here, thanks! -- jmpage2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jmpage2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48256 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
