Hi, I'm setting up SqueezeCenter in Mandriva 2007, or attempting to.
The RPM version didn't work out too well. Now I'm am trying the tarball version. I can get the server to run and the web GUI to work - although rather sluggishly. But then scanner won't run. I get: [08-05-24 20:07:35.4224] main::checkDataSource (870) Warning: Schema updated or tracks in the database, initiating scan. The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with SqueezeCenter: Compress::Zlib (loaded 1.41, need 1.41) This is vexing. Compress::Zlib is on the machine and the SqueezeCenter tarball provides its own copy. SqueezeCenter complains that it wants v 1.41, but in the same breath says that's what it's found. I'm loathe to try uninstalling the version that came with the distribution as other things depend on it, notably the MCC software installer. It appears that Perl 5.8.8 is installed. SqueezeCenter is 7.0-17793. Does anybody know what's going on and how to resolve the problem?
