Yes, I've checked volume a few times -- both amp and SB. I have also plugged the output directly into a line level subwoofer. It wouldn't sound perfect, but I should hear something. I did check the digital output. I plugged it into my DVD input on my surround sound system which worked before and after I did this. I tried both resets. No luck. Thanks for the help. Any other suggestions? It really bothers me that it works under Windows and not Linux. Is there a complete list of dependencies somewhere? Could it be a library issue?
