I checked my server.log (it was located at the path where you mentioned, thanks). Everytime I try to start squeezecenter, it adds the following line in the log:
DBIx::Migration::migrate (115) Warning: Database error: Can't DROP 'rating'; check that column/key exists at /usr/share/squeezecenter/CPAN/DBIx/Migration.pm line 115.
