To further modify the config manually will leave lines in the config that won't be removed when the deb is uninstalled (I assume). 2) I'm looking for a solution that works for non-geeks. Slimserver was a no-tech-brains-required setup, and I was on the verge of buying my dad a squeezebox off ebay, but this is somewhat of a blocker.
