All three extractions were of an old pressed Pink Floyd bootleg on The Swingin' Pig called "Welcome to the Machine". After I did the extractions, I created MD5 checksums, then compared the checksum files side by side. Tracks 2-5 had the same checksum across all three extractions, but track 1 did not. I used EAC's WAV compare tool and found out that the Linux file had a difference at 12 minutes and something. EAC reported "different samples" but I don't know if the plural was deliberate and meaningful or if it always says that even if only one sample has changed. I've configured grip to use straight cdparanoia [i.e., not grip (cdparanoia)] with these command line parameters: --sample-offset 48 -d %c %t:[.%s]-%t:[.%e] %w EAC running under WINE IDs the drive as: _NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD 1.26 -- atrocity ------------------------------------------------------------------------ atrocity's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16009 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51799 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
