I've been running fine using Squeezecenter 7.0-1 for sometime. I finally
decided to upgrade to 7.2-1 this evening.

I first tried rpm -U for the new version. The installation seems to go
well but Squeezecenter won't start. It gives the following error
message:

Use of uninitialized value in join or string at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/Spec/Unix.pm Line 81

and,

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at
/usr/lib/perl5/Slim/Utils/Prefs.pm Line 275.

There is no :9000 web access to the server.

I tried uninstalling Squeezecenter and then reinstalling and received
the same error.

Going back to SC 7.0-1 lets Squeezecenter start up again (with web page
access) but now I'm having scanning problems.

The frustration is the PC that I use for a music server basically has
no other duties. It was a fresh install of FC8 when I went to SC7 and
doesn't do anything else. I've been a Linux user for over 10 years now
and it seems that since the switch from Slimserver to Squeezecenter
that every server change has been a fight to get working.

Any thoughts?
