obi-wan is the server with squeezecenter on it, 192.168.1.67 the SB receiver. This *does* look like a connection doesn't it? Except for my gateway to the internet, there are no firewalls on my internal network. After my previous post, I reïnstalled squeezecenter on my XP desktop, out of curiosity: after reconnecting the receiver to that server I could play one MP3 song, couldn't add song to the now playing playlist, and as soon as I chose another song for play (an ogg encoded title) had no more sound. I'm baffled. -- ewijburg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ewijburg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20320 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53400
