Hi, I installed squeezecenter via ports/audio/squeezecenter. Installation run fine, only 2 errors. The user "slimserv" and the group "slimserv" could not be createt. Ok, I did this manually, assigned the user to the group an reran installation. It succeeded.
After installation there was no entry to start squeezecenter on every systemlaunch. So I startet with /usr/local/etc/squeezecenter start Runs fine. Now I wanted to access the center to configure it with http://server:9000. The Site appears with "wird geladen" (loading), but nothing happens. This was in firefox, but Opera and IE are telling me the same. The Logfiles in /var/log/squeezecenter don't tell anything about any errors. /var/log/messages is quiet too. How can I find out, what goes wrong? Second point I'm wondering about is: I notived that Squeezecenter does use mysql. Fine, there is a mysql on my server, but the installation never asked for the user an password to create a database. Do I have to configure this before installation in some scripts, or will this be configured with web-interface?
