Hi, I want to set up a server for running squeezecenter and also twonkymedia for other media streaming duties alongwith using it as a backup/archiving device. i think i have decided on using xubuntu. it'll be on most of the time so low power is essential. i currently have an epia something or other with 600mhzc3 processor i think with 512mb ram. is this likely to be underpowered and cause frustration when using squeezecenter. i don't have my squeezebox yet so haven't been able to test and i'm not actually in my own home either. i had been thinking about getting either a single or dual core atom motherboard to replac it...
any advice appreciated cheers -- hardflipman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ hardflipman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56092 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
