Hi, I want to set up a server for running squeezecenter and also
twonkymedia for other media streaming duties alongwith using it as a
backup/archiving device.
i think i have decided on using xubuntu. it'll be on most of the time
so low power is essential. i currently have an epia something or other
with 600mhzc3 processor i think with 512mb ram. is this likely to be
underpowered and cause frustration when using squeezecenter. i don't
have my squeezebox yet so haven't been able to test and i'm not
actually in my own home either. i had been thinking about getting
either a single or dual core atom motherboard to replac it...

any advice appreciated

cheers
