I have issues sharing the same playlists between Windows and Linux. They play fine in Windows, however in Linux the playlist names show up, but the playlists contain no songs...
Of course it is the $...@! volume naming for the same drive in both environments that causes the issues - anyone know of a trick to overcome it? Windows has the following absolute pointer to a song.. Z:\My Music\Bill Evans\Bill Evans for Lovers\09-My Foolish Heart-Bill Evans.mp3 Of course, in Linux the same file is under /media/MediaDrive/My Music/Bill Evans/Bill Evans for Lovers/09-My Foolish Heart-Bill Evans.mp3 Grr. I'd really like to start the Windows or Ubuntu partitions with identical playlists. Tricks greatly appreciated... -- pablolie ...pablo Server: 3.3 GHz Intel E8600 Core 2 Duo (8GB) - Vista Ultimate 64 & Ubuntu 8.10 64 Sources: SB3 (4), SB Boom (2), Duet, Accuphase DP65v CD Amplifier: Accuphase E306v Loudspeakers: Ceeroy 3-way tuned by Darmstadt Psychoacoustics Lab Headphones: Grado SR-1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57647 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
