I have a Thecus N2100 running armel debian lenny. Trying to aptitude install squeezecenter fails outright because there are no packages available armel architecture. Manually installing with dpkg works but the server won't start "Squeezecenter died. Restarting". I've tried compiling the Perl libraries and installing GD using the CPAN shell. Nothing works. How come this is so hard? I've worked with numerous software packages that are architecture and/or distro independent and can easily be installed with aptitude/yum without hassle.
Has anyone managed to get this combination working? I just love my squeezebox. However, having to run squeezecenter on my ubuntu laptop is a bit awkward. I could very well be listening to my music collection on my laptop completely without squeezebox. j -- tyrtyr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tyrtyr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23118 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58357 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
