Etch will probably work because it uses perl 5.8. However, there are people who have apparently gotten squeezecenter to work on lenny (which uses perl 5.10). I've managed to gather from forum posts that perl 5.10 seems to be the root cause. I wonder if the sc developers are doing anything to fix this.
Ubuntu 8.10 (my laptop) also uses perl 5.10 and squeezecenter is running smoothly nevertheless. j -- tyrtyr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tyrtyr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23118 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58357 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
