I've installed SC on a LinkStation HG (PowerPC) and a LinkStation Pro (ARM processor), but never on a Terstation Pro. Each of the devices have their own peculiarities when it comes to (1) gaining command line access as root and (2) installing SC. I should also mention at the outset that the way I know is probably not the easiest way any more. You should also search the forums for anything about Terastations.
First a question: do you have shell access as root, either via telnet or ssh? If not, then you need to do that first. This might involve reflashing the TS firmware.
