Oh well. apt-get wasn't on the LinkStation to begin with -- most of us reflash the LS/TS firmware. My preference is FreeLink, which puts a small version of debian on the NAS. See www.nas-central.org for details. After reflashing the firmware, the differences between various models of LS and TS are hardware only, and mostly down to different processors.
Before reflashing the firmware, it might be worth seeing if you can install apt-get by other means. I don't know exactly how you would do that, and in fact, getting access to apt-get is the #1 reason I reflashed the firmware to FreeLink. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59203 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
