Hi,

sorry for attaching my question to an existing thread but I have a very
similar problem which I couldn't solve (even with the very valueable
information in this thread).

Short info about my setup: I have a Mini-ITX system with a VIA EPIA
EN15000G board. I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and Squeezecenter 7.3.2.

My problem is: I managed to installed the very cool Server Power
Control Plugin, so my server can go to suspend (or shutdown or
hibernate) after a certain idle time. The problem is, that I cannot
wake it up with "wake on LAN".

I did the following:

1. I added the following lines into my /etc/rc.local

Code:
--------------------

  /usr/sbin/ethtool -s eth0 wol g
  if (grep PCI0 /proc/acpi/wakeup | grep disabled 2>&1 >> /dev/null) ; then
  echo -n PCI0 > /proc/acpi/wakeup
  fi

--------------------

2. When I execute "cat /proc/acpi/wakeup" after reboot I get the
following:

Code:
--------------------

  Device S-state Status Sysfs node
  SLPB S5 *enabled
  PCI0 S5 enabled no-bus:pci0000:00
  USB3 S3 disabled pci:0000:00:10.0
  USB4 S3 disabled pci:0000:00:10.1
  USB5 S3 disabled pci:0000:00:10.2
  USB7 S3 disabled pci:0000:00:10.4
  AC97 S5 disabled pci:0000:00:11.5
  MC97 S5 disabled
  UAR1 S5 disabled pnp:00:08

--------------------

3. My "lspci" looks like this:

Still WoL is not working.

Has anyone an idea what might be wrong with my setup.

I'm really a linux noob and appreciate any help.

Many thanks in advance!
