If you are just running EQ you don't need any PCM files, your filter should be based on the example without DRC, the only_EQ.txt file. So the PCM files are not the problem. If 7. works, the plugin should work :( I am a bit lost. If 7. works, you proved that brutefir works, that your filter is okay and that all software is installed. SC should just do the same as you did with point 7. so you should get no error. I checked my python version it is 2.5.2 so this should not be an issue either. I'll ask Toby the creator of the brutefirwrapper script, if he has any idea about the python stack trace.
