I was ready to recommend a "gaming adapter", as some vendors say. But I fear this would bridge a single mac address. So you must use a router, not a switch. Hence the solution is not very cost effective I think. Perhaps you can put another network card in the server, and have it do the routing ? That should be cheap. But no SN access when the server is off. EDIT: I see you have a wifi card on the way, that should do it, provided the server is not in a blind spot. For the other solutions, WDS seems the best to me as it is theoretically standard. However, bridging means all your machines and traffic will land on your neighbor's router, and vice-versa. If you're routed, you have your own network. -- epoch1970 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61444 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
