Yes.
The usual picture is
modem/dsl/fios router -- > WRT54GL ----> SlimCenter server
----> Transporter
----> lots of other computers
The trick is that you turn off the "router" functions on the WRT54GL,
and have it just pass through all router requests to your ISP provided
router.
The WRT54GL has four outgoing Ethernet jacks, one incoming Ethernet
jacks, and of course WiFi
